Welcome WB9JTK As Moderator for the Amateur Radio Forum - RF Cafe Forums

RF Cafe Forums closed its virtual doors in late 2012 mainly due to other social media platforms dominating public commenting venues. RF Cafe Forums began sometime around August of 2003 and was quite well-attended for many years. By 2012, Facebook and Twitter were overwhelmingly dominating online personal interaction, and RF Cafe Forums activity dropped off precipitously. Regardless, there are still lots of great posts in the archive that ware worth looking at. Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts. Here is the full original RF Cafe Forums on Archive.org

Greetings:

Please welcome wb9jtk (Alan Dewey) as our new Moderator for the Amateur Radio forum! Alan has been quite active as a Ham and has numerous postings across the Web. There are hundreds of fairly busy Ham forums on the Internet, so vying for market share will be tough, but with Alan's help we hope to make this forum a much more useful and interactive venue.

Please remember that the role of a Moderator is to facilitate the interaction between visitors posting and visitors responding to issues, not to personally address every posting on every thread. Our Moderators have full-time jobs and attend to visitors as time permits. Moderators have the authority to edit, deleted, and/or move postings.

There are still openings for Moderators on other forums, so please let me know if you are interested. Thanks.
