Hi, everyone, I want to use HFSS to simulate the
antenna array. I set the ports for each antenna
element, but the pattern looks like a single antenna
element pattern. I guess if it is because I did
not set all the exitations at the same time. I don't
know how to give the antennas exitations at the
same time. It is not infinite array. If someone
who know how to set corrent exitations for antenna
array, please help me! Thanks a lot! Lu

I'm not sure how to excite all the ports at once
(my HFSS array designs have used corporate feeds)
but I know you can solve a single element, and then
see what it would be like if it were part of an
array. After you've finished solving, go to 'radiation'
and then 'array setting' and then you can say how
many elements, and how far apart they are etc.

Hi What you need to do is to go to "Field
Overlays" tab and then click on "Edit Sources".
You'll see that only 1st port has magnitude of 1
while the rest have magnitude of 0. So you set
all other to either 1 for uniform amplitude
didtribution or some other value according to
your design goals. Paganini
