I am also very interested in purchasing
a software (depending on quality of product
and price) but I will need to obtain softcopy
of the typographical maps for Fiji loaded
into the database. Alternatively,
I need access to the services that can carry
out the coverage plots of locations of our
Ground Station UHF Receivers within the
Fiji Islands. If anyone can provide these
services then please advise me on
peterod@afl.com.fj.
Thanks.

Hi, personnaly, I have received an eval of
MICROSTRIPES. after a quick simulation, that's
pretty fast and I am very satisfied with results.
I guess their TLM approach is relatively similar,
but the software is more stable (does not share
FDTD's dispersion error issue) and cell meshing/lumping
can be more brutal without causing errors .
hope this helps AD

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling
2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed
formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got
Mail" when a new message arrived...
