Hi all.. I am trying to design a
RF anttena on the PCB itself for a 2.4Ghz application.
It is a 50 Ohm with impedance matching network an
d has to be 400ohm in case like to remove all impedance
matching componets. Any suggestions or design
ideas will be of great help. Thanks in
advance
Regards, Vittal

Yeah, its quite simple... if you have Ansoft Designer
that is they have built in functions that
generate the dimentions of the patch antenna you
need depending on the resonant Frequency you provide.
I tried it , and it works really nice .
good luck

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling

formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got
