Simulation - RF Cafe Forums

RF Cafe Forums closed its virtual doors in late 2012 mainly due to other social media platforms dominating public commenting venues. RF Cafe Forums began sometime around August of 2003 and was quite well-attended for many years. By 2012, Facebook and Twitter were overwhelmingly dominating online personal interaction, and RF Cafe Forums activity dropped off precipitously. Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone knows of any propagation analysis software that works with the low frequencies to the microwave bands (100 kHz to 20 GHz) and can import terrain maps (DTED or DEM). I'm looking for something that will allow me to input the antenna type, place it within the terrain map, and find out the signal propagation loss, field strength, etc.

Does anyone know of any?
