GPS solutions? - RF Cafe Forums

RF Cafe Forums closed its virtual doors in late 2012 mainly due to other social media platforms dominating public commenting venues. RF Cafe Forums began sometime around August of 2003 and was quite well-attended for many years. By 2012, Facebook and Twitter were overwhelmingly dominating online personal interaction, and RF Cafe Forums activity dropped off precipitously. Regardless, there are still lots of great posts in the archive that ware worth looking at. Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts. Hello RF people,

We have a comm systems that has a harmonic that lies on 1575.42 MHz (GPS frequency). There are instances during operations that the comm systems knocks off our GPS reading. Besides adding more filtering to the comm systems output, is there any other alternatives we can apply to prevent the GPS from getting knocked off?

We can't move the GPS since it is pretty much fixed in position. Filtering the output of the comm systems is the only sensible thing that I can think. However, I want to know if there are any ideas that I haven't encountered, yet.

Thanks!
