3 Location: NTU Hi, there are various ways to design LNA, for
a low voltage low power requirement, which topology is better? Can any
one give me some useful information on that particular topology? Thanks
very much Top IR Post subject: Posted: Tue Aug

are several parameters in LNA design, which have trade-offs between
each other. For example: High linearity vs. low current consumption,
high gain vs stability etc. When you design your LNA, you are working
according to given specs. and this dictates the device you will choose.
Per a given device, you start to design the surrounding circuit that
will determine the parameters you need. In the design process there
are trade-offs between gain and NF and stability by means of circles
on the Smith Chart. You will have to do a compromise between all these
parameters, this compromise will determine your matching/bias circuit
components values. Good luck! _________________ Best
