Mentor Expedition PCB --> PowerPCB - RF Cafe Forums

RF Cafe Forums closed its virtual doors in late 2012 mainly due to other social media platforms dominating public commenting venues. RF Cafe Forums began sometime around August of 2003 and was quite well-attended for many years. By 2012, Facebook and Twitter were overwhelmingly dominating online personal interaction, and RF Cafe Forums activity dropped off precipitously. Regardless, there are still lots of great posts in the archive that ware worth looking at. Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts. Dear all,

Could anyone advice me that what format could I export in the Mentor Expedition PCB software? So, I could import it into the PowerPCB software? I have tried to export the PCB in the Expedition software in .asc (ASCII) format and import it in the PowerPCB. I found that there are some parts is missing shown in the PowerPCB compared with the Expedition shown. Moreover, some parts should be flood in the Expeditoin shown. There are not flood in the PowerPCB. Therefore, could anyone suggest me to have a better export format file in the Expedition. So, I could import it into the PowerPCB and without so much error.

Thanks
