Posts: 17 Location: Tampa, FL Hello all, I'm curious.
Do you think this idea is feasible? I wanted to process SW signals using
an AM/FM IC. I only want to demodulate amplitude modulated SW signals.
I was thinking that if down-convert the SW frequency to AM levels, then
I can just send the down-converted frequency to the IC. Any tips

2005 5:48 pm Absolutely you can do this - the amateur radio community
has used this approach for years. The NE602 IC is a favorite in that
community for the downconverter stage. Its only problem is its low 3rd
order intercept - which means that it overloads more easily than one
