Zero IF Mixer Simulation - RF Cafe Forums

RF Cafe Forums closed its virtual doors in 2010 mainly due to other social media platforms dominating public commenting venues. RF Cafe Forums began sometime around August of 2003 and was quite well-attended for many years. By 2010, Facebook and Twitter were overwhelmingly dominating online personal interaction, and RF Cafe Forums activity dropped off precipitously. Post subject: Zero IF Mixer Simulation

Hi All,

I was just wondering that anybody has an idea about how to simulate Zero-IF Mixer (RF-LO= 0Hz) using ADS or some other software.

I tried my with ADS but it is unable to do harmonic balance simulation for this kind of mixer.

I am using behavioral model from the ADS system's library.

Or is it possible to get these results by using Simulink.

I am really stuck at this point , so any help will be greatly appreciated.

N.B: i noticed in this forum there are quite smart guys, so i can hope for the best.
