Incumbent serves as a Systems Engineer in support
of the Next Generation Jammer Program. Incumbent
provides engineering support for the development
of an airborne Electronic Warfare (EW) jammer. Incumbent's
primary program will be EA-18G and Next Generation
Jammer. Requires familiarity with high power RF
and microwave amplifiers, airborne antenna and RF
systems, electronic attack technology, and fundamental
radar and communication systems. Responsibilities
will include attending technical meetings and reviews,
reviewing and providing written comments on technical
documentation, test planning and testing of the
system, performance analysis, interface with other
engineering groups such as threat analysis, and
interface with the sponsor and external agencies.
Responsibilities also include the analysis of operational
requirements, specification of new equipment to
meet those requirements, and laboratory development
of advanced concept jamming systems.
Ability
to obtain/maintain U.S. Department of Defense (DoD)
security clearance.
