On-Site Interview with Qualcomm - RF Cafe Forums

RF Cafe Forums closed its virtual doors in late 2012 mainly due to other social media platforms dominating public commenting venues. RF Cafe Forums began sometime around August of 2003 and was quite well-attended for many years. By 2012, Facebook and Twitter were overwhelmingly dominating online personal interaction, and RF Cafe Forums activity dropped off precipitously. Regardless, there are still lots of great posts in the archive that ware worth looking at. Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts. Hey All!

I have an on-site interview with Qualcomm for the 'Audio Systems Engineer' position. Anybody interviewed for this position before? I was expecting a lot of DSP questions for my phone interview but got quite a bit of analog stuff(amplifiers, opamps common mode rejection ratio, power supply rejection ratio and so on) and some acoustics. I was fine with acoustics and DSP questions but I was a little iffy with the analog stuff. When I asked the interviewer he mentioned that the position work would involve, among other things channel impulse response measurements, board verification and integration.

I'm not really sure as to how I should prepare for the interview. Should I review my analog stuff? If so what in particular?

Thanks in advance!

Mark
