Responsible for the conceptualization,
design, layout and laboratory evaluation of RF (radio
frequency) and MS (Mixed Signal) IC's. Specifically
responsible for the design of 5GHz and 2.5GHz transceiver
circuits in BiCMOS SiGe, 0.18u CMOS, and 0.13u CMOS
for single/multi-chip 802.11x WLAN radios. The main
focus of design efforts included LNA's, mixers,
basic VCO cores, transmit amplifiers and various
test chips. Proficient in using various lab equipment
such as HP and Agilent spectrum analyzers, network
analyzers, signal generators, power meters, vector
volt meters, waveform generators and oscilloscopes
in laboratory evaluation efforts of the fore-mentioned
designs. Responsible for participating in team problem-solving
efforts when circuit emergencies occur. My work
and responsibilities have allowed me to demonstrate
an ability to work well in the team environment,
ability to meet scheduled commitments, and communicate
effectively both in writing and verbally.

for all reliability, customer related issues, qualification
plans and failure analysis regarding PRISM98 and
all other RF / wireless products. Responsible for
the development and implementation of wireless FA
techniques. Responsible for the development and
implementation of reliability stress monitor plans.
Other responsibilities include root cause failure
analysis of failures that occur during reliability
testing and field failures returned from customers
and supervision of four wireless failure analysis
technicians. Responsible for the design and simulation
of ESD structures in the new wireless LAN IC. Internship
- Design Engineer May 1998 to October 1998 Harris
Semiconductor, Palm Bay, FL. Responsible for designing
a down-convert single balanced rx mixer (RF @ 2.5GHz)
and single stage LNA. Responsible for the PCB layout
and design for the optimized mixer and LNA. Responsible
for all simulations, documentation, troubleshooting
and lab measurements regarding these designs to
validate simulated performance versus lab performance
in order to identify any issues which could mitigate
risk for the Prism 98 program. Other responsibilities
included transistor array device characterization,
package parasitic design and modeling, generating
noise figure, S-parameters, gains, K factors, stability
circles, and taking measurements in the lab using
network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators,
and various other lab and simulation tools.
