Congratulations - RF Cafe Forums

RF Cafe Forums closed its virtual doors in 2010 mainly due to other social media platforms dominating public commenting venues. RF Cafe Forums began sometime around August of 2003 and was quite well-attended for many years. By 2010, Facebook and Twitter were overwhelmingly dominating online personal interaction, and RF Cafe Forums activity dropped off precipitously. Regardless, there are still lots of great posts in the archive that ware worth looking at. Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

NOTICE: The original RF Cafe Forum is available again for reading, and the new RF Cafe Blog is an active board.

Bush & Condoleezza Rice are going to sell weapons for billions of Dollars to our Muslim friends in Middle East, especially Saudi Arabia.
In a few years these weapons will be used to attack `faithless` Americans & Europeans, so thank you George ! :x  :? :(

What runs between their ears was undiscovered until this morning.
I captured one of these androids, and put it through an MRI scan, then reverse-engineered the software.
Whilst not quite finished with the task, the results so far are the lines of a subroutine as below

1000 SUBROUTINE "MEET_AND_GREET"
1005 CALL SUBROUTINE HANDSHAKE (T = 2, GRIP = 2 NEWTONS, WRIST = LIMP)
1010 PEEK_MEMORY ="MET_PREVIOUSLY?"
1020 IF "MET_PREVIOUSLY" = TRUE THEN 1100 ELSE SET TIME=20: GOSUB "ASSESS"
1030 IF "ASSESS" = "PROMISING" THEN 1100 ELSE 1040
1040 MOUTH = "FEINT_SMILE": HEAD = LOOK_AWAY
1050 RELEASE ALL
1060 END SUBROUTINE
1100 PEEK_MEMORY = "ADVICE_FROM_AIDES"
1110 IF ("AIDES_ADVICE" >= $1E9) THEN 1200 ELSE 1120
1120 LEFTEYE = "CLOUDY"
1130 RIGHTEYE = "CLOUDY"
1140 HEAD = LOOK_AWAY
1150 RELEASE ALL
1160 END SUBROUTINE
1200 CHECKIF = "AIDES_ADVICE" = TRUE
1210 IF RESULT = TRUE THEN 1300 ELSE 1220
1220 POKE_MEMORY = "FIRE_AIDES"
1230 RELEASE ALL
1240 END SUBROUTINE
1300 MOUTH = "BROAD CHEESY GRIN"
1310 SET CHAT_TIME = 30: REM SECONDS
1320 RIGHT_HAND_SETPRESSURE = 30: REM KILO NEWTONS
1330 GOSUB “HANDSHAKE”
1340 RIGHT_HAND = “Shake”
1350 LEFT_HAND = “Grasp upper arm of subject”
1360 LEFT_EYE = “$$”
1370 RIGHT_EYE = “$$”
1380 POKE_MEMORY = “SUBJECTS_NAME”
1390 MOUTH = “MAKE AN APPOINTMENT, PRIVATE, ALONE”
1400 POKE_MEMORY = “Place_AND_time”
1410 MOUTH = CALL SUBROUTINE MYPEOPLE_YOURPEOPLE
1420 POKE MEMORY = “Recommend_aide = Bonus+share_options”
1430 RIGHT_HAND = “release grip”
1440 HEAD = “nod”
1450 LEFT_HAND = “cover clasped hands”
1460 WAIT WHILE = “photographers not ready”
1470 BODY_STANCE = “Pose_for_photo”
1480 DELAY = 10: REM SECONDS
1490 RELEASE ALL
1500 END SUBROUTINE “MEET_AND_GREET”
I anyone else is able to further this research please report in.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...
