UNICEF Bombs the Smurfs - RF Cafe Forums

RF Cafe Forums closed its virtual doors in 2010 mainly due to other social media platforms dominating public commenting venues. RF Cafe Forums began sometime around August of 2003 and was quite well-attended for many years. By 2010, Facebook and Twitter were overwhelmingly dominating online personal interaction, and RF Cafe Forums activity dropped off precipitously. Regardless, there are still lots of great posts in the archive that ware worth looking at. Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

NOTICE: The original RF Cafe Forum is available again for reading, and the new RF Cafe Blog is an active board.

In the latest installment from the Lunatic Left, the United Nation's UNICEF group has bombed the Smurf's village to protest war.

Here's an idea:

How about showing al Queda cutting off Papa Smurf's head with a serated knife, and then dragging his burning body through the streets. Can I say that al Queda are Radical Islamics?

40% of the UN budget comes from only two countries: the US and Japan. And both seem to get routinely screwed over by the UN.

Where did you get your figures for US funding of US?
And how much does US owe UN?
Are you sure UN screws US enough considering how much US screws the world? I did not say rest of the world - US is screwing itself also time to time. If US stops meddling with others and practice what it preaches the whole world will be a better place - that is after wiping of Al Queda and Taliban whose existence came about because of stupid US policies.

So Guest, was it your mother or your father that taught you to hate America? Maybe it was one of the socialist teachers at your public school. Wait, maybe you're John Kerry or Michael Moore posting anonomously.

Al Qeada has a written policy (if you paid attention to the news in the last couple days you'd know) for world dominance for radical Islam, where they want to cut your throat if you don't abandon your infidel ways and convert to Islam and subject yourself to Sharia law. They want to cut your mother's throat too - after she dons the burka. Maybe you're one of them? Probably are.

As for the UN, the US doesn't owe them a dime. The money they have swindled off us and other countries more than make up for any US "debt". Look at the taxpayer money we've spent on exposing the extreme corruption in the UN in everything from the oil-for-food scandle to the raping of African women and girls.

This is straight off of the UN.org website. As "kanling" stated, US + Japan = 22 + 20 = 42%. This is typical of how ignorant people like you are. My guess is you have no clue whatsoever about the complete history the UN - when it was started or how it has evolved. If you respond, it'll only be by plagerizing something off the web. Except for it's fun to expose morons like you, it wouldn't even be worth my time.

The scary thing is that there are many, many like her out there. Contrary to the old saying, ignorance is not bliss.

    Kirt Blattenberger,

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...
