Greetings: If you have watched the “RF Cafe
Website Intro” video introducing myself and RF Cafe,
then you know that I am seeking people with an interest
in being moderators for the various Forum areas
here on RF Cafe.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLpwW5wDYrE
The role of a Moderator is to facilitate the
interaction between visitors posting and visitors
responding to issues, not to personally address
every posting on every thread. Having some expertise
in the particular Forum category (Antennas, Software,
etc.) would be helpful, but you do not need to be
at the sage level of knowledge to qualify. Moderators
have the authority to edit, deleted, and/or move
postings. As you can see in the Circuits
Forum and Test & Measurements Forum, our two
Moderators decide what posts need their attention
and respond accordingly. I do not give any direction
regarding how they fulfill their positions, and
both have performed magnificently. We all owe a
debt of gratitude to them for their efforts.
If you would like to be the Moderator for this
or any other available Forums on RF Cafe, please
send me an e-mail. Thank you.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling
2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed
formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got
Mail" when a new message arrived...
