RF Cafe Forums closed its virtual doors in late 2012 mainly due to other social media
platforms dominating public commenting venues. RF Cafe Forums began sometime around
August of 2003 and was quite well-attended for many years. By 2012, Facebook and
Twitter were overwhelmingly dominating online personal interaction, and RF Cafe
Forums activity dropped off precipitously. Regardless, there are still lots of great
posts in the archive that ware worth looking at. Below are the old forum threads,

I sincerely apologize for any
inconvenience caused by the move of RF Cafe to a
new server. Transferring this forum database from
the old to the new was a real hemorrhoid, and surely
caused some people to be left behind.
During
the transition, the IP address for rfcafe.com would
be directed by the DNS servers to the new location
sometimes, and to the old location at other times.
Because of that, some people who registered for
the forum are not registered for this new location.
I cannot reestablish the registration for you because
I cannot access your password. If you registered
anytime in the last week and you are no longer registered,
please do so again. If you send me an e-mail to
say you were affected, I'll enter your name in the
T-shirt contest for March.
