Well, They Say the Mind is the First Thing to Go

Truman Safford, of Vermont, could instantly extract the square root of 7-digit number at age 10. He demonstrated the ability to square the number 365,365,365,365,365,365 in his head in less than a minute. Truman graduated from Harvard, became an astronomer, and eventually lost the ability to perform those amazing feats.
