Nowhere to Hide

According to a story in Popular Mechanics, "In the blink of an eye, electromagnetic bombs [E-Bombs] could throw civilization back 200 years. And terrorists can build them for $400." By exploiting Compton Effect, extremely high energy electromagnetic pulses (EMPs) are capable of literally melting every microcircuit and sensitive electrical device within its range of hundreds of miles. According to theorists, anything less than a 100% Faraday shield will be ineffective against these Flux Compression Generator (FCG) devices.
