Anatech Electronics Introduces Notch Filter for TV Broadcast Applications

Anatech Electronics - Model S2065 Notch FilterGARFIELD, NJ (April 12, 2009) – Anatech Electronics today introduced the Model S2065 notch filter for use in the television broadcast band (Channels 62 to 68) that reduces the level of undesired signal by providing an extremely high level of signal rejection. It is an excellent choice for solving difficult interference problems.

The Model S2065 has 3-dB passbands of DC to 750 MHz and 850 to 1200 MHz, rejection at 800 to 806 MHz greater than 70 dB, return loss greater than 14 dB. It handles an RF input power of 5 W, will operate over a temperature range of -40 °C to +80 °C, measures 4 x 1.25 x 0.75 in., and uses F Type connectors.

Anatech Electronics - Model S2065 Notch FilterThe Model S2065 is a custom product and can be specified with different electrical and physical characteristics to suit the needs of customer requirements.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...
