Z-Comm Introduces the CRO1920C-LF L-Band Synthesizer

Z-Communications, Inc. Z-Comm CRO1920C-LF VCO phase noiseSan Diego, November 2, 2009 -- Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model CRO1920C-LF in L-band. The CRO1920C-LF operates at 1915-1925 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0-5 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -119 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 6 MHz/V.

Z-Comm CRO1920C-LFThe CRO1920C-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 3 dBm at 8 Vdc supply while drawing 18 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -10º to 75º C. This VCO features typical second harmonic suppression of -15 dBc and comes in Z-Comm’s standard MINI-16-SM package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The CRO1920C-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...
