Z-Comm Introduces the V350ME24-LF Low Phase Noise UHF VCO

Z-Communications, Inc.Z-Comm V350ME24-LF phase noiseSan Diego, CA, October 26 2009 -- Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model V350ME24-LF in UHF-band. The V350ME24-LF operates at 200-400 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 1-16 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -95 dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 16 MHz/V.

Z-Comm V350ME24-LF UHF VCOThe V350ME24-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 3 dBm at 10 Vdc supply while drawing 16 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -20º to 55º C. This VCO features typical second harmonic suppression of -20 dBc and comes in Z-Comm’s standard MINI-14S package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The V350ME24-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...
