Empower RF Systems Announces Milestone and New CEO INGLEWOOD, CA, December 1, 2009 (Business Wire) -- Empower RF Systems, a leading manufacturer and global provider of solid state power amplifiers and amplifier based solutions celebrated the tenth anniversary of the Company and also announced the appointment of Barry Phelps as CEO, effective October 1, 2009. Entrepreneur and founder of Empower, Efraim (Effi) Bainvoll, is President of the Company and will be leading projects focused on nurturing strong, existing technologies and creating new PA solutions for evolving systems requirements. “I am both proud and humble to see the success that we have achieved since launching the company in 1999”, said Bainvoll. “Our customers have given us tremendous opportunities to be of service and we continue to work hard to earn their business.
