Telemakus, LLC Introduces a True RMS Power Sensor with USB Interface
Jose, CA, July 29, 2009 --
RFMW announces Telemakus, LLC's introduction of a True RMS
Power Sensor with USB interface. The detector operates from 50MHz to 6GHz with 50dB dynamic range. The RF
connector is SMA male and the DC/control connector is USB type A allowing direct connection to a PC or via a USB
extender cable. The device also has 0.5GB of flash memory containing all the installation files, data sheet and
calibration data. The windows based user interface allows direct power measurement, averaging and relative power
measurement. The unit can also be used with common ATE software. Using multiple sensors allows gain measurements
at the same frequency or different frequencies for mixer measurements. Applications include remote RF power
monitoring, field service fault detection and data logging.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling
2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed
formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got
Mail" when a new message arrived...
