EF Johnson Technologies, Inc. Secures $1.8 Million Order
from U.S. Department of Defense Customer

Company’s Project 25 compliant portable and mobile radios to support military applications

Irving, TX – March 31, 2010 –  EF Johnson Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: EFJI) announced today that it has received an order from a US Department of Defense (DoD) customer. Pursuant to the order, valued at $1.8 million, the Company shipped its ES Series Project 25 compliant portable and mobile radios and accessories to the customer during the first quarter.
