Narda SP2T Fail-Safe RF Switch Operates From DC to 18 GHz


Click to visit the Narda websiteNarda's Model SEM02012 fail-safe SP2T RF switchHAUPPAUGE, NY – May 12, 2010 -- Narda, an L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) company, today introduced the Model SEM02012 fail-safe SP2T RF switch for operation from DC to 18 GHz that features very low insertion loss and rugged construction.

Model SEM020-12 operates from 12 VDC at 275 mA, has maximum insertion loss of 0.5 dB, isolation of at least 60 dB, and VSWR of less than 1.5:1. It uses SMA female connectors, includes an integral indicator circuit, and measures 1.34 x 1.5 x 0.5 in.

The Model SEM020-12 is in stock and available for immediate delivery.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...
