Skyworks Wins Technical Support Award from Huawei

Company Recognized for Excellence in Customized RF Devices for Base Transceiver Stations

(NASDAQ:SWKS), an innovator of high reliability analog and mixed signal semiconductors enabling a broad range of end markets, today announced that it has received the Technology Support Award from Huawei, a leading telecom solutions provider, in recognition of its excellence in base transceiver station (BTS) radio frequency (RF) customized devices.

Huawei has been a Skyworks customer since 2006 and leverages the company’s RF integrated circuits in addition to various analog components. Huawei’s products and solutions have been deployed in over 100 countries and been integrated in 45 of the world’s top 50 telecom operators, servicing one third of the world’s population.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...
