Three New Frequency Ranges Join the API Technologies
Line of Tunable Filters

ORLANDO, FL — AUGUST 18, 2011 — API Technologies Corp. , a provider of electronic systems, subsystems, RF, and secure systems for defense, aerospace, and commercial applications, announced today three new frequency ranges for its  family of API™ Tunable Filters: 30-88 MHz (AP-mini-30-88), 90-200 MHz (AP-mini-90-200), and 200-400 MHz (AP-mini-200-400). These digitally-tuned bandpass filters are ideal for military radio applications and join the previously released 30-90 MHz model (AP-mini-30-90).

“The API line of tunable filters operate over several frequency ranges and are particularly well suited for military radio applications where tuning across a precise frequency is essential,” said Jim Fisher, Director of Engineering, Systems and Subsystems Solutions Division,  API Technologies. “With a tuning speed of less than ten microseconds and weighing only 60 grams, they can be used as drop-in replacements to competitors’ tunable bandpass filters.”
