Miniature 0402 Varactor Diodes from Skyworks

WOBURN, Mass., July 6, 2011 — Skyworks is pleased to introduce two miniature 0402 varactor diodes for voltage controlled oscillator (VCO), phase noise and voltage tuned filter applications. These small form factor, discrete solutions are available in plastic surface mount technology (SMT) packages and are ideal for applications requiring low resistance, low inductance and a wide tuning range. The SMV1705-040LF and SMV1232-040LF are designed for 3V platforms in low phase noise VCOs used at frequencies in wireless systems up to and beyond 2.5 GHz. These general market diodes are also ideal for WLAN, CATV, LNB, energy management, wireless infrastructure and military markets.
