(M/A-COM Tech), a leading supplier of high performance analog semiconductor solutions, introduced today a new power amplifier for point-to-point radio applications. The MAAP-008924 is a 3-stage, high linearity 1.2 W GaAs power amplifier. Packaged in a 5 mm, 20-Lead PQFN, the amplifier is fully matched to 50 ohms on both the input and output.  “The

cellular backhaul applications.”Operating between the 10 GHz to 13.3 GHz frequency range, the MAAP-008924, can be used as a power amplifier stage, or as a driver stage in high power applications. Fabricated using M/A-COM Tech’s high linearity MESFET Process, the amplifier features 20 dB Gain and 44 dBm OIP3.
