EMCUK 2012

Meet Q-par at this Premier EMC event in the UK, held in Newbury, Berks, 9th - 10th October, 2012. Q-par will be demonstrating its range of High Power EMC Horn Antennas and HiRF (High Intensity) antenna systems.

Antenna Measurement Techniques Association annual meeting and symposium Seattle

Q-par will be attending AMTA October 21st - 26th, 2012 for the 34th Annual Symposium of the Antenna Measurement Techniques Association (AMTA) in Bellevue, Washington. Q-par's representative Lionheart NW will be presenting Q-par's range of antenna products and services at the symposium.

European Microwave week 2012 - Amsterdam

Q-par will be exhibiting its range of microwave engineering capabilities including antennas, antenna systems, and will be happy to discuss its microwave consultancy services. The exhibition will be held at the RAI, Amsterdam 29th - 31st October, 2012.

LAPC2012

The Loughborough Antennas and Propagation Conference is one of the main events in the UK calendar for Antenna developments. Q-par will be exhibiting its range of standard and specialist antenna products, November 12th - 13th 2012.

Microwave Workshop & Exhibition (MWE) 2012

Q-par will be attending the MWE exhibition in Japan, November 28th through to November 30th at Pacifico Yokohama, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. Q-par will be presenting its wide range of antenna products and services with its Japanese partner Takitek KK.

New sales representative in Brazil

Boreal Communications has recently been appointed as Q-par's exclusive representative in Brazil. Q-par is pleased to be working with a well established company in this territory.

Q-par is pleased to announce the launch of a high performance 3 port, 1.2 to 8 GHz, 180 degree power divider. This is intended for use with dual polarised high power wideband antennas requiring balanced feeds, especially where there are very low squint and channel isolation requirements.

EMMA - Particle Accelerator Research and Design

Q-par Angus's involvement concerned the design, development and manufacture of the large and complex high energy waveguide distribution system including hybrids, phase shifters and high power transitions used in the L band Accelerators for the EMMA project. The very compact, cost effective solution was designed to meet the tight physical constraints of the particle accelerator.

Q-par met the challenges by its close collaboration with its customer and unique design by using its own designed waveguide size WG5Q; achieving better phase stability which is especially important for long waveguide runs such as involved on this project.
