September 3, 2018 (Spain, Arlington, VA) - ERZIA Technologies announces availability of the ERZ-HPA-0850-0980-53 pulsed, High Power Amplifier (HPA) based on GaN technology and focused for Radar applications in X-band. It provides 250 W in a compact size and modularity. With this new release ERZIA increments the High Power Amplifier family in X-band dedicated to radar applications.
This part is compliant with EU 2011 / 65 /UE RoHS (Restrictions on the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and restriction of Chemical substances) directives.
ERZIA produces Microwave and Millimeter Wave modular amplifiers and integrated assemblies operating from Low frequencies up to 100 GHz. Our catalogue of standard amplifier modules comprises more than 100 different models, having also a high capacity of customization for amplifiers and integrated assemblies. Some of our products have space heritage and are used in aerospace, commercial, military and scientific systems, having a wide range of final applications and focusing in excellent performance and reliability.
In December 2002, Founder Luis García decided to start a new company in order to apply innovative concepts and technology available in at that time rising mobile phone industry, to the more conservative space industry. ERZIA won its first contract with the European Space Agency in 2003 for the development of a Satellite Link. Emulator to be used for testing and type approving satellite user terminals against the newly created Satlabs standard for DVB-RCS. In 2005, ERZIA won its first ever contract to design and manufacture spaceflight hardware for the LISA Pathfinder mission. That was followed by a number of other programs and ERZIA started its career in space.
