Planar Monolithic Industries (PMI) recently introduced four new products in their extensive line of RF and microwave components. Included are a 2.0 to 18.0 GHz high speed single pole six throw reflective switch capable of switching within 15 ns, a 2.0 to 18.0 GHz 8-bit vector phase shifter, and a 2-channel switch filter bank with a low-pass 8.62 to 8.70 GHz filter and a 8.0 to 26.5 GHz bandpass filter. Contact PMI today for more information.

PMI Model No. P6T-2G18G-55-R-512-SFF - RF CafePMI Model No. P6T-2G18G-55-R-512-SFF

PMI Model No. P6T-2G18G-55-R-512-SFF is a high speed, single pole, six throw, reflective switch capable of switching within 15 ns. The frequency range is 2.0 to 18.0 GHz and has over 55 dB of isolation. This model was designed to produce very low video transients of 15 mV peak to peak and a video transient spectral content of -65 dBm maximum. Features include TTL control, SMA female connectors, small package size 1.0" x 1.4" x 0.3".

PMI Model No. PS-2G18G-360-8D

PMI Model No. PS-2G18G-360-8D - RF CafePMI Model No. PS-2G18G-360-8D is a 2.0 to 18.0 GHz, 8-Bit, Vector Phase Shifter making it ideal for frequency translation where continuous monotonic phase shifting is required. This model also features high speed switching and typically lower than 60 dB harmonic distortion. Specifications include Insertion Loss: 18.0 dB Max; Phase Shift Range: 360°; Switching Speed: 500 ns Max - Measured 410 ns; Control Slopes: Linear; Phase Vs Frequency: ±15° Typ. - Measured ±15.39°; RF Input Power: +20 dBm CW, 1 Watt Max; VSWR: 2.2:1 Max - Measured 1.79:1 (50 Ohm System); Power Supply: ±12 V to ±15 V @ ±100 mA Max, Measured +15V @ 63 mA, Measured -15V @ 76 mA; and Control Bits: 8-Bit TTL Unit size is 4.25" x 3.50" x 1.00"; RF Connectors: SMA (F); Control & Power Connector: DC-37P, Sub Miniature D Multi-Pin and Finish: Painted Blue.

PMI Model No.

PMI Model No. 2SFB-8G26G-CD-SFF - RF CafePMI Model No. 2SFB-8G26G-CD-SFF Rev C is a 2-channel switch filter bank providing a low-pass filter that passes 8.62 to 8.70 GHz with a rejection band of 17.24 to 17.4 GHz. In by-pass mode the unit passes signals from 8.0 to 26.5 GHz. This unit is powered by a +5 V single supply and the control logic is TTL/CMOS +5 V compatible.  Other specifications include Input RF Power Level (No Damage) +20 dBm CW Max (powered and unpowered), Input IP3 (pin = -10 dBm, DF = 2 MHz) +27 dBm Max, +32 dBm Typ, and Switching Speed 100 ns Max - Measured <100 ns.  RF Input/Output SMA (F) removable connectors and package size 1.5" x 0.8" x 0.5".

About Planar Monolithics Industries (PMI)

Planar Monolithics was founded basically to take advantage of the growing demand in monolithic-based products using the hybrid MIC/MMIC technology innovations that are mushrooming in a big way all over the world. High performance and reliable products can be obtained by using this technology. Planar Monolithics will meet these requirements. Planar Monolithics organization has been setup to design, develop, manufacture, test, and market complex state-of-the-art hybrid RF/microwave and monolithic integrated circuits (MIC/MMIC) and components, and hybrid MIC/MMIC supercomponents and subsystems. Planar Monolithics provides its unique products for applications in space, military, communications, telecommunications, commercial, and consumer electronics systems.
