AND READER STANDS
Single- and Dual-Sided Antenna Stands Including Full Turnkey Systems for Standard and Customized Solutions LOWELL, Mass. -- March 27, 2006 Tyco Electronics has expanded its RFID solutions to include integrated RFID antenna and reader stands featuring fully-tested turnkey RFID systems. The M/A-COM MAAN-000176-AT0000 and MAAN-000177-AT0000 RFID stands are designed for standard and customized solutions for use in a variety of applications, including supply-chain management and asset visibility. Additionally, the stands can be integrated with peripheral offerings for additional functionality and are available in floor and wall mount versions. The global reach of our company provides our customers with the ability to rapidly proto-type pilot studies as well as regional manufacturing and testing services for mass deployment, said, John Akins, product manager, M/A-COM RFID products. These integrated solutions are configured to support multiple RFID reader and antenna products and applications. The M/A-COM MAAN-000176-AT0000 is the North American frequency band floor mount RFID stand and the MAAN-000177-AT0000 is the European/Indian frequency band floor mount RFID stand. The single- and dual-sided antenna stands, which can be used for both portal and wall-mounted applications, feature fully-integrated portals including antennas, readers, status lights, power management and a computer interface.
