Principal RF Engineer

Description:

Design, develop and integrate exciting new receiver/tuner products at the cutting edge of digital synthesis technology. In this position, you will establish technical direction and define technical strategies for RF engineering projects as well as conduct important and complex technical investigations.

Qualifications:

BSEE (MSEE desirable), 10+ years hands-on engineering experience. Candidates must have extensive experience in an RF environment to include specification development, conceptual design, schematic capture and PCB layout. Experience with the latest high performance microwave design and simulation tools and measurement techniques as well as wide RF receiver/tuner/design frequency coverage (20 MHz to 3 GHz and or up to 22 GHz) is required.

This position may require exposure to information which is subject to US export control regulations; i.e., the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration regulations (EAR).

All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of US regulations. The ITAR and EAR define a U.S. Person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Sr. RF Technician

Description:

Perform system test, identify problems and recommend solutions on exciting new receiver/tuner products at the cutting edge of digital synthesis technology. Using a variety of test equipment to ensure the highest quality product, test and prepare product including loading 3rd party modules with Mercury hardware and software. Compile and record data/test results.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have 5+ years RF board test and troubleshooting background that includes wide RF receiver/tuner/design frequency coverage (20MHz to 3GHz), PCB layout and schematic entry. This position may require exposure to information which is subject to US export control regulations i.e. the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration regulations (EAR).
