As Product regulatory compliance and safety director, you will be responsible for the strategy and supervision of a staff which oversees regulatory compliance standard, area management requirements and product safety for multiple Sony products sold in the Americas. You will be responsible for ensuring all Business Units are kept updated on changes to standards. Establish requirements for SEL and interface with business group management, engineering and factory personnel in SEL and Tokyo. You will also play a key role in lobbying on Sony's behalf for fair standards that align with Sony's vision and goals. These lobby efforts maybe jointly supported by legal, electronic competitors and the CEA.

You will develop staff as a team leader of the organization to meet their targets and objectives and to ensure SEL goals and objectives and aligned. Interface as needed with regulatory agencies to gain understanding on direction and trends in the industry that will or could affect Sony. As an Engineering Project Manager in the VAIO Division, you will coordinate project activities and schedules amongst Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Planning, Marketing, Service, and Support personnel. This includes driving new software product introduction programs from project initiation through delivery, interfacing with internal stakeholders on all matters.
