RF/Microwave Principal Engineer

Seeking a highly motivated senior level RF/Microwave Engineer with a strong technical background in electromagnetics and RF/microwave circuit design to lead and execute DoD programs.
 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Defining and leading advanced RF / Microwave R&D projects.
  • Principal Investigator generating technical proposals and cost estimates in
    support of basic and applied research leading to definition of system
    architecture and specifications.
  • Conduct design efforts for RF and microwave circuits, antennas and
    subsystems which will include modeling, EM and circuit simulation,
    component selection, prototyping and test.
  • Coordinating all aspects of the project to meet technical, schedule, and
    cost goals.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Superior technical knowledge in electrical engineering discipline, allowing full range of technical analysis and design.
  • Proficiency using RF/microwave design software such as ADS, Microwave Office, HFSS, XFDTD.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, must be able to
    communicate and document own work for the benefit of others, prepare
    and give briefings to customers.
  • Demonstrated capability to schedule development projects, execute
    assignments to schedule, and generate periodic progress reports.
  • MS EE with 10+ years experience or PhD with 3+ years experience.

RF Design Engineer

Seeking a highly motivated RF Design Engineer to design RF assemblies and transceivers for military applications.

 

Responsibilities Include:

The RF design engineer will be responsible as part of a team for the design, development, and implementation of high performance, integrated RF assemblies for military applications. The successful candidate will have knowledge in the design and implementation of RF circuits and system integration. The candidate must be comfortable with component level circuit design (NF, Gain, IIP3), system level performance specifications, RF board design, and issues encountered in the design/implementation of highly integrated multi-function assemblies.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • A thorough understanding of all aspects of RF design for wireless communications systems.

  • Direct experience in radio transceiver design.

  • Experience in LNA, mixer, VCO, synthesizer, and PA design desirable.

  • Experience with CAD tools for RF design and PC board design (Orcad, ADS, Microwave Office, Momentum, HFSS, etc).

  • GSM experience a plus.

  • Software Defined Radio, DSP a plus.

  • MSEE with 5+ years related experience designing, implementing, and testing radio communication products.

Sr Embedded Software Developer (GSM/GPRS/EDGE)

Seeking a highly motivated software engineer to develop real-time embedded software for the physical and L1/L2/L3 of our wireless protocol analysis products.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Embedded software design.
  • Software architecture.
  • Test-fixture software design.
  • Coordinating all aspects of the project to meet technical, schedule, and cost goals.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Real-time systems.
  • Knowledge of wireless standards (GSM, GPRS, EDGE, W-CDMA ) and
    RF systems.
  • C/C++, Assembly, Java, LabView experience desired.
  • 5+ yrs experience with all phases of the software development cycle.

Education:

      BSEE, BSCE or BSCS minimum.

  • Laboratory management, organizing and maintaining supplies and components.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Associates degree in electronics or equivalent military/industry experience, and 2+ years relevant electronics experience.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, must
    be self-motivated.
  • LabView experience a plus.
