AKON, Inc., the leading supplier in microwave integrated assemblies and subsystems, is looking for an energetic and technically inclined sales engineer to handle primarily the Asian markets. The successful candidate will be a degreed (BS minimum) electronics/electrical engineer with at least 5 years industry experience with microwave components and subsystems, a solid technical understanding of the subject, and the ability to work well with customers and in-house technical staff. Travel will be required up to 40%. Duties include preparing and delivering quotations and proposals, answering customer inquiries, working with in-country representatives and agents, company capability presentations and general liaison and follow-up between customer and in-company staff. Salary plus commission will depend on experience and performance. U.S. citizenship required.
REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience with RF and microwave components and subsystems in the band from 0.5 to 40 GHz.
QUALIFICATIONS
BSEE in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, with 5 years experience minimum in industry U.S. Citizenship required.
Akon Inc. is a growing manufacturer of RF/Microwave components and subassemblies for military and space applications and is currently seeking an experienced microwave component design engineer. The successful candidate will have practical, in-depth knowledge and experience in the development, design, manufacture and testing of RF/Microwave components in the 0.5 – 20 GHz range (up to 40 GHz a pus). Examples of the types of components: amplifiers, oscillators, multiplexers, phase shifters, switches, voltage controlled attenuators, power dividers, couplers, 90 degree hybrids, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience with gallium arsenide MMIC-based microwave integrated assemblies on thin-film alumina substrates is a must. Successful candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills. Proposal writing experience will be very favorably considered.
QUALIFICATIONS
BSEE/MSEE in Electrical Engineering, with 10 years experience minimum in design.
AKON is seeking an RF/Microwave Layout Engineer to join its engineering design team. Successful candidate will have five plus years experience in component design in 2-18 GHz frequency range, using Thin Film on Alumina Substrate. Components would include power dividers, couplers, 90 degree hybrids, amplifiers, switches, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
Hands-on individual with ability to do RF layout using AutoCad is preferred. BSEE is required, MSEE preferred. U.S. citizenship is preferred. Canadian citizenship acceptable.
AKON is seeking a motivated individual to plan, implement and manage an advanced thin film fabrication laboratory specializing in fine geometry (0.1 mil accuracy) microwave circuits using Ta-N Ti-W Au process on 5 to 25 mil Alumina Substrates. We are a successful company in the defense microwave sector, with 26 years in business, and need a driven individual to start and run our thin film lab.
REQUIREMENTS
