Activities Performed:


• Team Lead for overall management, coordination and single point of contact for client.
• Handling a team of 6 engineers inclusive of drive test and optimisation engineers.
• Performance Monitoring and maintaining Kpi for swapped sites from Motorola and new sites.
• Evaluating B9 Parameters and suggesting modifications for poor performing cells.
• Optimising the network cluster wise, using AnaQos Ver. 1.99.
• Preparing Gos report to be sent to end client.

Activities Performed:
• Handling a Team of 3 RF Engineers for swap activity from Siemens & Huawei to Ericsson for 2.5G network of Banglalink, Bangladesh.
• Preparation of CDD for swaps sites with necessary parameters.
• Getting the Post swap and pre swap drive test done for the clutter and analysing the drive logs.
• Site verification after swap and recommending parameters and CDD changes.
• Collection &analysis of statistics from OSS with help of Business Objects and optimising the network for achieving KPI pre swap <= KPI post swap by modifying parameters using RNO Tool.
• Preparing reports as per customer requirement per site and for whole cluster.
• Managing the overall radio related activity by planning drive routes, selecting sites for swap.

Project Name: TMIB DB Tuning and optimisation
Customer: ERICSSON, Bangladesh.
Project Period: June 06 to April 07
Project Size: Dual band tuning in phases for two cities: Dhaka 600 sites, Chittagong 450 sites

Activities Performed:
• Deputed in Dhaka for TMIB (the operator) Multi-Band Optimisation for Ericsson
• Performing optimisation for Multi band sites by setting values for Path-loss criteria like LOL, TAOL, FBOFFSET, DTCB etc using RNO tool.
• Optimising CDD parameters and Cell-to-Cell relation (for handover optimisation) using statistics obtained from Business Objects.
• FLP implementation support. Maintaining the KPI by tuning the Parameters.
• The entire activity is to achieve KPI’s for Multiband and single band sites in terms of call blocking, dropped calls.
• Team lead for Cell Optimisation activity. Scope of work included getting the drive test done using TEMS VER 7.0, report any h/w faults or other abnormal events observed during drive, preparing reports, consistency check as per CDD, taking level and quality plots and recommending changes after analysing the log files.

Activities Performed:
• Benchmarking done for comparison of Airtel’s network with other 3 gsm operators in terms of coverage and quality.
• Roaming test done to check the probability of a MS to latch onto Airtel network when in roaming or when no coverage of service provider is present.
• Preparing reports and coverage, quality, SQI, C/I plots, as per customer requirement with the help of Tems investigation 5.1 and Mapinfo 6.0.

• Able to handle optimization activities alone. Handled 3 BSC’s (approx 150 sites) from Motorola side. Optimization activities typically include change of frequency, changing antenna type, reorientations, tilt, height changes, and relocation as per necessity.
• Radio Site Survey, site selection that includes planning of antenna locations, antenna type height, and azimuth.
• Frequency, BSIC, Neighbour planning for the network cell sites.
• SFH implementation (1x 3, 1 x1, Fractional loading), which include HSN & MAIO planning.
