The system consists of transceivers which work on FM-CW Radar principle. The system transmits and receives electromagnetic waves in the course of its flight. After signal conditioning the detected reflections from the target are processed by a Micro Controller and triggers the firing circuit. This technique gives height of burst independent of angle of approach, impact speed and length of shell. I have designed Antenna, Coupler, LNA, Power Amplifiers filters, Power dividers required for the transceiver systems. The system is successfully fabricated, integrated with artillery systems and Carried out field trials for the Indian Army. · Design & Development X Band (10 GHz) Transceiver System for Radar Application The system consists of circularly polarized micro strip patch antenna, voltage controlled oscillator, power amplifier, low noise amplifier, active circulator and band pass filter. I have designed all the subsystems and tested individually for its performance. The subsystems are successfully integrated as a complete system and tested for its operation. This Transceiver system is designed for its compactness with optimum performance. Novelty: Design of Active Circulator which makes use of non reciprocal property of the transistor to get the desired isolation in the one path and required forward gain in the other path of the circulator. · Design & Development of Various RF Components for Ongoing Projects I have involved in successful Design & development of RF components like RF Switches, Phase Shifters, Power combiners/Dividers, Various Kinds of Microstrip Patch Antennas and Antenna Arrays, Directional Couplers, Hybrid Couplers, All Types of Filters (Low Pass, High Pass, Band Pass, Band Stop, and Notch Filters).
