Installed and administered Windows 9X/NT, Real Networks Server and Windows Media Server. The LAN included video editing stations to capture TV video, digitizing and converting to Real Media format, and storing on hard drives. After the video editing the programs could be transferred to the file server for posting on the website. As Database and Network Administrator, on the LANs: installed and maintained servers, workstations and hubs, configured CISCO routers; on the mainframe: performed numerous SYSGENs for equipment upgrades including CPUs, disk controllers/drives, tape controllers/drives, and local/remote terminal controllers. Supervised all computer operations including data entry, backups and rebuilding the database. In 1990 became the Chief Engineer overseeing equipment, personnel and operations for the TV studios and satellite uplink in addition to computer responsibilities. This included all the network master control switching equipment, the microwave links to the satellite earth station and the earth station itself. This included all routine maintenance, tuning of klystrons, twt’s, modulator/up converters, and HPA, moving 30’ C-band dish and center box alignment.
