PROJECTS
o RFIC DP#1 - Linear CMOS Power Amplifier for WCDMA Applications
o RFIC DP#2 - RF system and front-end circuit design for a WiMAX
Transceiver
o MEMS IC Design - Designed and simulated an Oscillator with a MEMS
resonator ( 40 MHz) to implement a gravimetric sensor for lung cancer
detection
o Senior Design - Successfully implemented a Frequency Synthesizer
(500 - 1800 MHz) design on a PCB using surface mount parts including
an ADF4360-7 PLL chip from Analog Devices
o Analog IC Design - Fully Differential CMOS Amplifier design and
layout in 0.35um TSMC process with a gain over 100,000, bandwidth of
200 Hz, and noise of 30 nV/rt-Hz
o RF Design 2 - Analyzed a power amplifier in time and frequency
domain to characterize its transducer gain, operating gain,
efficiency etc. when operating at different input drives (2.5-7.5 W)
in a frequency range of 100 - 200 MHz
o RF Design 1 - Wideband matching for an amplifier operating in the
902 - 928 MHz band
o Used the PIC16F818 microcontroller to develop a Morse code
transmitter that could beep a fixed string stored in memory (SOS), or
a number which was input using a keypad
o Programmed an FPGA in VHDL to use its sonar and IR sensors as it
navigated the halls of a building without collision

WORK EXPERIENCE
Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA
Spring '07 - Fall '07
School of Electrical and Computer Engineering
Fall '07
Lab Instructor for Instrumentation and Electronics Lab
