Welcome WB9JTK As Moderator for the Amateur Radio Forum - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

-- Amateur Radio
-- Anecdotes, Gripes & Humor
-- Antennas
-- CAE, CAD, & Software
-- Circuits & Components
-- Employment & Interviews
-- Miscellany
-- Swap Shop
-- Systems
-- Test & Measurement

Greetings:

Please welcome wb9jtk (Alan Dewey) as our new Moderator for the Amateur Radio forum! Alan has been quite active as a Ham and has numerous postings across the Web. There are hundreds of fairly busy Ham forums on the Internet, so vying for market share will be tough, but with Alan's help we hope to make this forum a much more useful and interactive venue.

Please remember that the role of a Moderator is to facilitate the interaction between visitors posting and visitors responding to issues, not to personally address every posting on every thread. Our Moderators have full-time jobs and attend to visitors as time permits. Moderators have the authority to edit, deleted, and/or move postings.

There are still openings for Moderators on other forums, so please let me know if you are interested. Thanks.
