Gold's the Place to Be - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

Stinky ought to be pretty happy now :-D

I can't believe the way gold is shooting up. Not much coverage of it in the news. Not sure why. You'd think it would be a big deal that it's at it's highest since the 1980s. Of course inflation has made that $600 worth less than in the 1980s, so in thinking about it, that $600 is really only maybe $300-$400.

Still, it's pretty amazing that it has literally doubled in 3 years. Only my Google stock has done better (only own a few shares). Should have bought gold and LOTS of oil company stock. Those creatins are sucking us dry. :x
