I'm with you Kirt on the CFL issue. Your classic mix of sarcasm and humor is spot on
as usual. I love the line about the poor Chinese workers contemplating suicide while
trying to make quotas under threat of imprisonment! Sad but all too true. All the limosine
liberals never hesitate to buy the cheap goods or sell their stocks in companies that
aid and abet the inhumane practices in Communist China. Hell they all love the Communist
system and hope some day they can be part of the ruling elite. Somebody prove me wrong.

News Flash: A couple days ago, the 23 W (100
W equiv.) CFL in my floor lamp gave up the ghost. It was about a year old and certainly
has not suffered any abuse. If the news media wasn't carrying the water for the Green
agenda, there would be investigative reports all over newspaper front pages and television
shows about how the promises of CFL have fallen short, and are just causing already
cash-strapped households to spend more of their money. When I tossed out this
CFL bulb, I tossed out more glass than in the equivalent incandescent, a PCB full of
electronic components, and a plastic base
(horrors - a petroleum product!).
