Greetings: By now everyone has heard about the plan to require everyone (except
for the usual suspects who never pay for anything) to buy health insurance. Has anyone
seen what the Government option plan will cost? I have seen no numbers anywhere. The
Plan does impose a 2.5% tax on people who do not pay for any insurance, but nowhere
have I seen actual numbers for what it will cost. I currently pay about $3,600
per year for Melanie and me, and that is with a $5,000 deductible, so it is essentially
a catastrophic plan. We do not have dental insurance. Will dental insurance be included
in the Government plan? I haven't heard. Since almost nobody has read the Bill,
there is no useful information being disseminated. How the heck can anyone support this
massive overhaul without even knowing such simple details?
