Anybody out there using EZNEC? What is the format
of antenna text files that are created by EZNEC?
Can you provide an example or two of EZNEC antenna
pattern text files? The data usually contains
columns of theta, phi, and gain. Thanks.

Hi, I use EZNEC. What exactly are you asking
for? Do you mean the text files generated by analysis
of the antenna or are you talking about the files
for describing the actual wires like NEC uses?
If you want to learn to play with EZNEC, download
the free version to play with, go to >Help >>Contents
then choose >>Test Drive. Here are
2 of the pattern plots for a simple dipole in free
space:
and the azimuth plot:
It's a nice tutorial that gives a great intro
to using the software. You can also check out Terry
Dettman's site here:

let me know if you have any other more specific
questions. Kevin
