please excuse the newbie question...
I am
a graduate student working on a project that requires
me to design a printed circuit antenna and a circuit
connected to it.
I want to know about softwares
(preferably free) that can be used to design printed
circuit antennas.
I came across Momentum
from the Agilent EESoF but it is a bit too expensive
and does not seem to have an evaluation version.
Again please excuse the newbie question.

Well, free software for printed circuit antennas...
You can use trial versions of Sonnet.com
or Ansoft Serenade (Student Version). There're
also free versions of NEC (Numerical Electromagnet
Code),
http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu/swindex.html which
you can use together with MMANA (I believe it's
a user interface, never worked with nec)
Even the good old PUFF can do it
