IP3 Analysis - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

Can anyone point me to a document or web page which has an IP3 analysis for an emitter/source degenerated bipolar/CMOS amplifier? I only seem to be able to find the Volterra series model of this analysis and this is not very intuitive. Also, most papers I have come across only discuss the Taylor expansion of the collector/drain current but don't go into the analysis

Can anyone help?!! Thanks so much.
