Noise Calculation in AWR MicrowaveOffice - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

Hello amit,

You can consider Flicker noise (1/f).

Noise sources are part of the MOSFET model that you use to simulate your device behavior. Flicker noise is being used in many models available by the manufacturers, while other sources are not so commonly used. Of course that If you have a model, which provides more than flicker noise then it is the best!
